The Sox took game one of a three game set vs. the Twinkies in the Rollerdome, and pulled into a tie for first place, percentage points ahead of the Twinks. Buehrle again showed his domination of the team from up north. Aside from a HR to Koskie and 3 straight hits in one inning, he had no trouble whatsoever. Tomorrow (or later today, I guess) the Sox send their new toy to the mound against Bradke.
As little as 3 days ago there were people dropping like flies from the Palehose bandwagon. The first game loss in the Cubs series had people predicting a dismantling of the team. Three games later, the Sox have won three straight versus two pitchers with a combined record of (16-7) and a future hall of famer. The road ahead doesn't get any easier though, with games vs. the Cubs and Angels up in the next two series.
