It's 7PM and there hasn't been a White Sox game in over 28 hours. I'm going stir crazy. Blogging will pass the time...
* * * * *Joe Cowley, beat writer for the Daily Southtown, reports that it could be as long as the
All-Star break until the Sox see Frank Thomas back in the line-up. Frank ran on Friday, and paid for it with "excruciating" pain on Saturday.
"This is excruciating. After I run, it's just really, really sore. I ran the other day (Friday), and I ran hard, and it was really sore. I don't know what we're going to do now. Hopefully, we'll come up with something."
I wasn't really worried about Frank until now. I thought he would be back around June, and ready to tear up the AL after the ASB. But, as it appears now, I have know idea when (or even if) we'll see a healthy Frank Thomas on the Southside.
* * * * *Since I had some time to kill, I compiled a little list of notable Sox prospects along with their stats so far. I'm not going to add any commentary, as I haven't seen any of these guys play since spring training. I'm not going to falsely claim to be an expert on a bunch of guys I haven't really seen play.
